Send your pups on vacation to my quiet home with 24/7 attention and a grassy, enclosed backyard that they can come and go from as they please! My proudest accomplishment in life is helping my rescue pup June flourish. She went from quiet, shy, and nervous around dogs and people when I first met her to a silly, cuddly, well-adjusted adventure buddy! I’d love to support your pup’s socialization journey, with June’s help or one-on-one. I am a big proponent of R+ and force-free training methods. I grew up with cats and dogs and have always been the go-to pet sitter for my friends. I am currently working remotely from my home office, so I’d love to get some exercise during the day by walking pups and caring for neighbor pets, or providing my enclosed backyard and pet-proofed house for a calming doggy daycare environment while I work. I am diligent, trustworthy, and a good communicator. I am comfortable with administering medication, including cat IVs. My car is outfitted with puppy car seats.

I have a large fenced yard and a small dog of my own (4 year old dachshund mutt, spayed and vaxxed). She is great at a slow approach and making other dogs feel welcome. I also have space in my house to keep pets separated (baby gates, separate rooms) if your fur baby would prefer to hang out alone.

A typical day
Our schedule is flexible to meet your dog’s needs! For daycare or boarding, I like to start by giving new pups a chance to sniff out the yard and all the rooms so they can get used to the smells and sounds of my house, with lots of treats and encouragement. I have lots of toys, including puzzles and lick mats, so I like to set up those for downtime. When it’s time for exercise, I have many options for neighborhood walks depending on the dog’s energy level.

Availability
I work full-time from home and I have a car. My work schedule is highly flexible, and I tend to know about conflicts far in advance and will block them off in my calendar ahead of time.
