Thank you! Hi! You can call me Katz and I love dogs (and cats of course)! I grew up taking care of my family’s English Cocker Spaniels and consider our animals friends precious members of the family. Nothing makes my day like making a dog happy and seeing the get the happy wiggles! I’m just as happy taking out older dogs who need time to sniff and smell all the roses as I am running around with a high energy pooch throwing a frisbees in the park or getting some forest time in the Arboretum. I am a graduate student at Western and a part time TA. When I’m not busy with school I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, scrambles, skiing and casual naps by a lake. Thank you! I am on summer break and with at least 24 hours notice (48 hours even better!) I am available to you help your family out! I can care for a small dog or cat in my home. I live in a split level duplex in a small apartment. When I have boarded dogs here I take them on frequent walks and potty breaks. I am not far from the Arboretum or Interurban trail and love to bring pups out on day hikes with me.

Katz watched my 9month old Goldendoodle for 2 nights and was lovely. Apparently my pup was fairly naughty and she handled it like a champ. She’ll definitely tell you how your pup actually behaved which is really helpful for the next time you need to leave them. She made sure that my dog had plenty of exercise and love and sent me lots of pictures. I’d definitely book her again and recommend her to a friend.
Katz is the absolute best! She is far more than anything we could have ever asked for. We have two 3 year old dogs with quite a bit of energy, and Katz was certainly able to keep up! She took them on multiple hikes up in the mountains and completely wore them out. She sent us pictures and updates everyday as well. Her updates helped us to enjoy our vacation and know that our dogs were doing great! We even came home to a spotless house afterwards with clean blankets and towels! Katz is extremely considerate, kind, and loving. She is by far the best dog sitter out there :)
Katharine was really understanding of my rescue dogs needs and took time to make her feel comfortable and happy in her care. She was wonderful.
HOLY COW (or in this case doggos)! Katz was absolutely amazing with our two dogs. We got an update every day on how the doggos were doing. With extremely active dogs, it's hard to find someone to give them big days of running. I think Katz went on 5 or 6 longer hikes, the dogs were in heaven. I almost wanted to write a bad review so she would be more available for us haha, but honestly she was the best dog sitter I've ever met. Highly recommended and the best person for our dogs.

A typical day
I think every dog needs some time with paws on the dirt. When I’m watching dogs I like to take them to a field or enclosed area to play fetch and run around off leash, or go spend some time sniffing all the smells in the forest. I love taking dogs up in the high country, seeing them amazed by the sights and smells fills me up with joy! I'll play fetch, tug of war, and give lots of doggie cuddles (unless your animal is more of loner, and needs lots of space!)
