As life-long animal lovers, we both grew up with dogs and have over 20 years caring for them. Before bringing Bear into our life, we looked after family and friends pooches while they were away on business or vacation. It is a natural fit to have an another pooch in the house, providing all the comforts of home to that pooch while he/she is on vacay (love, cuddles, toys, snacks, etc.). Bear is a good and gentle 'player' with other dogs, and your dog will be a part of our family. Our home is in a quiet neighbourhood in west Etobicoke near the Etobicoke Creek, which is great for walks and your pup will receive at least 2 walks per day (usually 30-60 minutes each). We typically try to get out for a longer on-leash hike during the weekends which the pups seem to really enjoy. We feed our dog raw food, so if your dog is also a raw eater, this is no problem for us. A picky eater is also no problem (we have all sorts of tricks up our sleeves that will ensure your pooch eats). Your pooch and our boy are separated at meal time. We use positive reinforcement techniques and can continue any training you are already doing with your pooch! (Leash, crate, behaviour, etc.). Please note - we are not trainers, but are able to continue to work with your dog while you are away on behaviours you are already trying to shape with him/her.
