Hi, I’m Kat! Having grown up with pets my entire life, I find great joy in spending time with and caring for animals. While I do have a full time job, my flexible schedule allows me to work from home during many mornings and occasional afternoons. I live in a home with a sweet older cat and a rambunctious, playful and strong-willed (and perhaps overly affectionate) 1 year old, 40lb puppy named Pepper. I welcome other pets into my home on a case-by-case basis that depends on a number of factors: that our dogs get along, that your dog is reliably house trained, understands basic commands, and is vaccinated/flea-free, and that they require only a moderate amount of attention/exercise throughout their stay. I am much more flexible when it comes to visiting your home, and unless we have agreed to it prior and our dogs have met, I do not plan on bringing Pepper into your space. I feel comfortable supporting your training regimen by implementing it with your pet, or providing any medications that they require. Looking forward to working with you!

Despite her name, Kat is a dog person. A responsible and loving dog person. A caregiver, a snuggler, a walker, a playmate, a friend. Kat surely loves your dog as much or more than you do and that's okay! Because you wouldn't want someone who cared less, right?
Kat is a longtime friend of mine, and our go-to pet sitter when we’re in a pinch. She is extremely reliable, responsible, and compassionate. Her love and care is apparent from the moment you walk through the door. Toys neatly organized in baskets, comfortable pet beds, premium food, and personalized artwork are some of the tell tale signs a well-pampered dog and cat live there. I have no hesitation leaving my dog with her knowing that pet safety is the first priority in her home. Kat is also very in tune to the pet’s psyche, willing and able to offer comfort to even the most anxious animals.
Leo (my dog) and I have known Katharin for 5 years now. Leo absolutely ADORES Katharin. Katharin has had dogs for all of her adult life and it shows. Katharin not only has extensive knowledge about behavior modification procedures when training pups, but she also shows the upmost compassion for any breed of dog (or really any animal) that she comes in to contact with. I have left Leo in her care on many occasions and he even starts to whine and wag his tail every time we drive past her house :) Katharin is very responsible and will follow through with every one of your needs for your beloved pup.
Katharin is one of the kindest and truth worthy people I know. I am very hesitant to trust somebody with my two dogs as they are a handful, but Kat has always exhibited control over them as well as a caring and compassionate demeanor. Kat has stayed at my house for the weekend to pet sit for me in 2015 and I’ve continued to use her since then. She is very detail oriented and follows pet owner instructions very well including feeding and medication administration. I highly recommend Kat!
