Dogs, cats, ferrets, rats, iguana, crocodile, conure, guinea pigs, fish... I've been blessed to have them all. Volunteered for a wildlife rescue that specialized in wild birds, but had other beasts. Lucky enough to be "punched" in the face by a redtail hawk. Held an owl, or few. Chased baby quail. Pelicans... in the desert.?. Volunteered for a no-kill dog adoption agency. Lots of walking, and poop. Worked in a mall pet store (sorry). Cared for sickly, overbred puppies, etc... In high school, an amazing teacher taught me to respect the "scary" creatures of the desert. I may not kiss your scorpion, but I can care for the kritters that most people are afraid of: tarantulas, snakes, lizards, terrifying bugs, etc. I am not above any other being. I try to respect the lives of things around me. Currently caring for my mother and need to be flexible. At this point, my schedule is open. I would love to help you out.
