I like dogs, can't have my own :(
Pet care experience
I don't have any extended history with dogs, besides visiting Grandmas house during summer and petting her German Shepherd and couple mutts. I am currently a senior in Biochemistry at UW, and having my own dog is inconvenient. However, before committing in adopting a dog after graduation, I would like to get experience in taking care of a dog (walking, feeding, playing, etc), and this seems to be the best option for me. I have worked as a nursing assistant before, so I know how to take care of people, and give basic first aid for people, not dogs though... I would prefer to walk very friendly small to medium dogs, to get more comfortable with dogs.

Information Kateryna T. would like to know about your pet
I don't have any breed preferences. I would like to walk a dog with no biting history or running away. And a dog that is comfortable being on a leash.
A typical day
I live near Greenlake, so I can walk/run to Greenlake and do a couple laps around Greenlake. This should be sufficient exercise for small/medium dogs. There is plenty of space near Greenlake to play catch. The house I live in has hardwood floors and not much clutter to destroy (besides plants), so if there is an accident it would be easy to clean up. Also, if the dog needs to stay overnight, first floor can be used for sleeping and feeding (first floor is entrance and storage, not a living space)
