Pet care experience
I would rather be called a dog lady, than a people person...but I like to think I'm both. I took some time off after building up an overwhelming list of clientele. Now that the 4 puppies I helped raise have transitioned out of needing daily care, I am so open and ready for any and all new possibilities to create life long bonds, trust, obedience and love with your special canine. My father went to university for 14 years & now has 2 PHD's in veterinarian medicine. Thus, I learned a lot from him as to how to properly care for canines. I've babysat friends and families special and sweet dogs several times. Not to mention the over 27 different breeds I've had the honor of caring for through this incredible app. I myself have a little Labrador, Lucy. She's great with other dogs & throughout these last 2 years on Rover, she's has welcomed each and every dog with wet kisses. She absolutely loves making new friends and sharing her toys. I am infatuated with dogs & their unconditional love & desire to sleep, play, and eat. In that regards, I'm quite like a dog myself. I'm very detail & schedule oriented so your dog will be fully taken care of if it's well or sick. If it needs medicine, belly rubs, exercise, showers or playing some fetch, I'm your gal to treat your dog with the same kind of unconditional love they show us every day. I'm very excited to meet yourself and your pooch whilst having the undeniable pleasure to work doing something I'm incredibly passionate about every day. Some of my friends & family refer to me as, 'The Dog Whisperer.' ☺️ My husband, Braxton, is also a huge animal lover! He helps me with the dogs and in my experience, sometimes certain dogs prefer one gender over another. So there will be both a male and female presence in the house to help your pet feel comfortable. I can't wait to give your dog the best day EVER! I really look forward to meeting you and your cute canines! ❤️

Such an amazing experience. When you are leaving your young puppies for the first time you feel anxious and worried. Katie made us feel secure and worry free and she took amazing care of our puppies. I wouldn’t go to anyone else at this point, she was that good.
Katie is a great dog sitter! My dog and I were traveling on vacation but dropping my dog off at Rover made us feel right at home. Katie’s house was dog proof and she sent videos and pictures. I knew my dog was in good care. Would highly recommend!
Katie was great! She picked him up and dropped him off exactly on time. My puppy came back much more obedient and was much better at going potty. Absolutely no complaints, definitely booking in the future.

I'd like to know about your awesome dog prior to sitting for him or her, although I'm sure it won't matter because I've never met a dog that I didn't like, nor a dog that didn't like me. Along the same line, I do NOT have any breed, weight, or size restrictions. Myself and canines are all about love, fun and learning. I enthusiastically enjoy working with dogs in a way that is conducive to a then leading an incredibly ecstatic and fulfilled life. That being said, I fully believe in a positive response based form of training whilst correcting challenging behaviors in a beneficial way to begin building trust with your lovely animal. Trust, love and respect is my mission with animals. Canines are such incredible creatures, and I find with everything I teach them, they teach me something valuable in return. I'd be lucky to care for your animal. Additionally I'd like to know if there are places your pet doesn't like to be touched. Any dietary restrictions. If there are certain things that might make them nervous or anxious. Whether they are allowed on furniture. I understand the extreme value of having a pet, and thus, I aspire to give you and your animal the best experience possible. Thanks for considering ME. :)
A typical day
I am lucky enough to have a school nearly in my backyard that has an incredibly large grassy space to run around and play ball. We have a big FENCED yard for animals that deserve that extra security while playing. I love taking long walks daily with the pooches & for me it's a really win-win because they get exercise and are able to experience infinite smells and explore new territories whilst I find it very relaxing. I love to cuddle, give kisses and scratches all over, I find they like the belly and neck scratches the best. Often I'll go all out and give a doggy massage. There is a never ending supply of every kind of toy under the barking sun. That being said, I am confident that your doggie will find something appropriate to chew on to their hearts desire. I pride myself on my dedication to canines regarding positive chewing habits/things and rerouting negative habits regarding chewing. We have so much fun with our dog at home that I can guarantee your dog will never be bored.
