Pet care experience
*Due to my own dog being special needs, I am unable to host any pets in my own home. This is unfortunately non-negotiable* I've had a strong love for animals ever since I was little, and have taken care of pets aside from my own for the past 5 years, though I've owned dogs my entire life! I've worked in various dog daycare and boarding facilities over the past two years, on top of volunteering as a foster parent with Franklin County Dog Shelter over the summer!

Katelynn was great. She had very good communication, provided updates, and even bathed my dog when she got dirty after a stormy night. I could tell Luna had lots of fun in Katelynn's care. Would book again.

Katelynn was awesome! She was able to watch our dog last minute and was very flexible for us. She even sent us some check-in pics. :)

Safety is my number one priority when it comes to looking after animals! I always go outside with the animals in my care so I can keep a close eye on them, and I'm more than willing to take them out with a leash on if there's concerns about your pet attempting to escape the yard, or if you don't have a fence! Any signs of medical issues such as vomiting, diarrhea, etc will be documented and relayed to the owners immediately. I have no problems taking your animals to the vet while your away if requested in case of potential emergencies. All instructions for feeding, walking, medication administration, etc are followed to the letter at all times. I'm also more than happy to send updates, photos, or videos of your pet while they're in my care to help put your mind as ease - so you know your beloved pet is safe and taken care of.

Please let me know if your pet has any disabilities that require specialized care or medication administration ahead of time. Knowing about any behavioral/training issues, including known triggers that may provoke your pup are also important to me! Any specific feeding, bathing, or other care instructions would also be very much appreciated so I can take care of your pet to the best of my ability.
A typical day
I will usually ask owners what activities their animals enjoy, and plan my day with them accordingly! I have no issue taking your dog for walks, trying to teach them tricks or enrichment games, or simply playing with them and their favorite toys!
