Pet care experience
I work from home 2 days a week and I have two fun loving dogs of my own that love to play. I’m available to walk, housesit, and do stop in visits to take care of your pets while you’re away. I have owned cats, a bunny, and dogs most of my life and am okay with all of the above. I’m happy to work out a schedule that works for you, just shoot me a message!

Katelynn is a responsible, caring, and compassionate individual who has shown me to be an amazing caregiver. She has taken care of my dog on multiple occasions throughout the year. She would send me picture updates of my fur baby as she cared for her, made sure she had food, water, treats available at all times. Not only that, but she played with my dog, took her on runs/walks, and cuddled her. She allowed my dog to lay on her bed (she likes to keep under the sheet) and helped calm my dog anxiety by staying with her. She made sure my dog was cared and treated her as she was her pet. I highly recommend katelyn!
Katelynn has such a passion for dogs! She was the foster mama for the dog we adopted. Her love for helping dogs is so apparent. Our dog Nova was skin and bones when Katelynn found her. Katelynn is the reason we were able to adopt our precious, healthy girl. She would treat any dog like her own and make sure they got the best care!!

For house visits, I am careful to follow all instructions provided. I understand the importance of not just letting them out for potty breaks and to feed them, but to give them some care/affection and exercise or a chance to stretch their legs if they're kenneled or in a specific room of the house while the family is gone. For pets in my home, they'd be treated like family! We do daily walks, outside time, and we'd follow your feeding schedule per your instructions. I do allow my dogs on the furniture and they pretty much have free range of my home. The older one has never been kenneled, but my younger one is still being kenneled while we're away as he likes to chew on everything he can when we're not around.

I have to know how the dog is on walks when it sees other dogs so I can prepare for that and I need to know if they’re potty trained. I'll most likely take him/her out every 2 hours no matter what (until I go to bed then about 6 hours) but it's good to know if they have schedules/routines to stick to.
A typical day
My dogs typically wake me up around 6:00am so I'm used to getting up early for the first bathroom break of the day. Typically I'll feed my dogs twice a day, morning and evening, but I can work with whatever schedule your pet needs. All dogs are different in what they like to do, but I love going on walks/runs for the dogs that need the extra exercise as well as play fetch or tug of war. I've watched older dogs too that don't have as much energy, but can benefit from getting off the couch every now and then for a stretch. I'm happy to provide pets, bush them out as needed, and play with their favorite toys.

Availability
I work from home 2 days a week and am free on weekends marked available on my schedule. I love to do morning walks with the dogs and I have a fenced backyard that the dogs like to play in while I work on the patio. On my work from home days I make my own schedule so I’m fairly flexible with whatever needs your pet may have and weekends I’m entirely free.
