Pet care experience
I love doing anything involving animals, they are my world! I have been around all different sorts of animals my whole life. Ive taken 3 years of vet tech courses (not interested in that career path anymore for those who ask) and also used to work at the Brevard Humane Society in the shelter part of it and I absolutely loved it. While I worked there I went through a course of dog training and administered any kind of meds/chips animals have needed. Also while I was there I got to experience how to deal with senior animals, kitten/puppies, and other smaller animals like birds, bunnies, Guinea pigs, etc. Before I got into the rover app, I also used to foster animals quite often from different shelters. Now I still foster but just not as often so it’s not too overwhelming In the house. I have a large fenced in backyard along with two pups of my own and an inside cat. My pups are very playful but also know when to take a hint if someone doesn’t want to play back and my cat will more than likely just kind his own business and be up my butt per usual. I also have extra kennels in my house if needed for your pet.
Reviews
Katelynn was very good with watching our cats when we were on vacation for a week. She made drop in visits for our 3 indoor cats and sent us photos daily. Our boys looked happy to have company, fresh food, and a clean cat box from her services.
This was the first time for Einstein to stay with someone else. He also hasn't had much socialization with other dogs. Katelynn did really good with him and her prices were very reasonable. I would definitely take Einstein back to her again!

Katelynn has checked in on my cats for many of my trips and she always does a great job. She is very reliable and is able to give my senior cat his oral medications twice a day, which is a big help! Thanks again Katelynn for giving me peace of mind while on my trip.

Anytime I feed the animals, my two eat together in the kitchen and when I have others that need to eat I make sure to separate them just to avoid any arguments with them just to be safe. I’ll make sure to send as many pictures as you’d like to make you feel more comfortable with being away from your pet! I’ve never actually had anyone but myself watch my animals so eventually when I have to, I think about what I would want out of my sitter! Please don’t hesitate to ask questions about anything!

If your pet has any specific eating schedules or allergies just write them down or text me about them and I’ll make sure to follow them :) PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING ME. For boarding request: I’ve had quite a few issues with people not coming within the time they say or giving me a last minutes heads up. For example, supposed to be there within the next 10 minutes and saying you’re going to be late by an hour or more. Im a pretty understanding person so please be considerate of my time as well, I understand things happen sometimes but not to the extent it’s been happening. Same goes for pick up times. Please understand that I bring this up because it effects other pets that I have to go check in on, other drop off/pick up times and as well as me getting sleep after and before work in between my responsibilities. All phone calls/ video calls will be recorded on my end and you will be let know when call begins that it is being recorded. Thanks for understanding.
A typical day
I’d love to watch all kinds of different animals. Let me know if your animal usually crate trained/ able to be loose in the house. I have lots of toys, beds, and there is one large water bowl and two smaller ones that I keep outside so you won’t need to bring any of that unless you want to which is ok too!

Availability
My boyfriend, Zach, and I do live together , i put this in here just as a heads up that there is a male in the home in case your dog doesn’t like males, also to avoid possible future confusion about who’s in the house hold. I work 12am - 8am Monday-Friday ( and every once in awhile Saturday’s 12-8am ) at my job so that puts me getting home at around 8:30 every morning. Therefore, I’m not able to be at my house/client houses for services any earlier. After I get off there I usually just see what all I have going on that day and sleep around whatever there is planned.
