I've grown up with dogs and always helped with their care. We've had dogs at every life stage. I now live in my own house and have a lab/husky. I've had her since she was 2 months old and now she is 5 years old! I trained my dog myself and have had many friends ask for care/training tips for their own new puppies. My dog is well-behaved, calm, and curious. **Note- if I am dog sitting for you, I would prefer my dog to come and stay/play with your dog too. We would have a meet and greet prior to the stay to ensure the safety and happiness of both pets, but I cannot dog sit if my dog cannot stay too UNLESS you do not require us to stay the night.** We also recently adopted two kittens. Though I did not grow up with cats, I have grown to love the fun and spunkiness of our kittens! I have quickly learned the needs of each cat can vary depending on their unique personality! Last, summer I worked at a kennel with many dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. There I gained confidence administering medicine, walking dogs on leashes, and taking care of their essential needs. This was a great experience to learn how dogs of different temperaments tend to react to a new person and other dogs. I quickly learned the personalities of each kennel client to adhere to their needs and make them comfortable during an experience that can be scary for many dogs. I understand that fur babies are more than a pet and will treat yours with love and care, just like my own!
