Pet care experience
Your pets are important members of your family, so they should receive the same care and attention that you'd give to any loved one. For dogs and cats alike, I'll make sure that they get the love they deserve while you're away. I am the type of person who talks to pets in the home and out on walks, learns their personalities and quirks, and pays attention to anything out of the ordinary so I can alert you to any potential issues. I co-parent 2 cats myself who live with my partner, and I have owned 3 other cats in the past and have lived with roommates' dogs and cats as well. I have been pet sitting off and on for 12 years and always receive repeat requests. Due to my size and strength, I try to keep the maximum size for dog walks around 60 lbs. I am happy to watch cats as well, and we can discuss any other animals you may have. I'll make sure that you have peace of mind in leaving your pets behind.

Each pet is different when it comes to activities, so let me know what your pet enjoys. Do they like toys or not? Do they prefer long walks, short walks, or sleeping on the couch all day? I will adapt to their needs and preferences.

Availability
I currently work a hybrid schedule, so I am in the office Mon-Wed from 8-5 and then teleworking Thursdays and Fridays. I also currently take a class on Monday evenings that lasts until 6:30, which will run until the beginning of May. For overnight stays during the days I'm in the office, I do not have very close parking to make it easy to come check on your pets during my lunch break. So for those days, your pets either need to be able to stay home alone for that length of time, or I will add on a daily parking charge of $7.50 to park closer so I can come check on them ($6 parking plus Rover fees). Thursdays and Fridays I can work from your place and stay with them throughout the day!
