I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was about 10 years old. I was expected to walk and feed the dogs we had growing up. Once I left the house I had dogs and cats of my own. The cat I adopted in 2015 passed away around Christmas of 2020 from cancer. In the many months leading up to her passing, I had to give her medicine twice a day (among many other places things) so I am familiar with what it is to take care of an ailing pet. I adopted another cat shortly after she died and that is my only pet. I feed her twice a day, clip her nails, brush her, and deal with other medical needs as they arise.
