Pet care experience
Hi! I’m a college student that has two adorable dogs in my home state that I’ve cared for many years. I also dog and cat sit! My college roommate’s and I decided to join Rover because we love all animals and wish we could have a pet of our own here in Lynchburg. We live in a pet friendly neighborhood that has a dog park being built. We also live in a townhouse that has plenty of space for pets. Not only will I be watching or walking your pets. But my two college roommates will also be very involved. We do not see it as a job, we just love to be around pets!

Katelyn takes great care of our dogs. She’s wonderful for the young one who has lots of energy and loves to play. She takes her on long walks and throws ball with her outside. She’s also amazing with our senior dog who needs medication and special care. I have complete trust in her and would recommend her to anyone looking for a loving, responsible caregiver for their pets.
Katelyn is always my go-to furry friend watcher when I’m out of town! She takes excellent care of my cat, and always sends me updates and photos. My two dogs need to be walked daily, and they love when Katelyn takes them! She is motivated, compassionate and always makes sure they are all tired out and ready for their naps when they come home!
Kate is very proficient and responsible with caring for dogs. She has two of her own and they are well loved. Kate is very trustworthy and would give the pet a lot of attention.

How often they require potty breaks, what their feeding schedule is, if they are good with other dogs (for the dog park), and if they require any medication. (I have a senior dog in my home state that I give daily medication to so I have experience).
A typical day
First, I will make sure your pet has food and water. My roommate’s and I love to take walks around our neighborhood as well as trails. We also have a dog park being built that will be finished very soon! Even when I’m just watching tv at home, I’m typically playing with my dogs! (I have two dogs in my home state).

Availability
I am a student athlete, however, my class schedule is very minimum this semester. My roommates and I have the same schedule which leaves plenty of time during the week and weekend to pet sit or walk! I am available in the morning/afternoons. I have no classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, as well as the weekend!
