Pet care experience
I had a dog, Hobbes, for the first 15 years of my life. During that time period my neighbors and friends also relied on me to walk, feed and watch their pets. I have volunteered at 2 humane societies and have fostered 6 puppies and 3 dogs.

Katelyn is the most honest and responsible person I know. She is confident in handling all different types of dogs, and equally as loving to all. My husband is a veterinarian, and we owned a large veterinary practice, so it is easy for us to identify people who are naturally good with dogs. Katelyn is one of the few people we would trust with our dogs.
Katelyn loves dogs and dogs love her! She was raised with a dog and was always very kind and caring. In high school, Katelyn did dog sitting for several neighborhood families and was able to deal with whatever situation arose. We have many friends with dogs; Katelyn always shows kindness and affection toward them. We fostered a dog this past summer through our local humane society; the dog had clearly been abused in the past; Katelyn was patient, nurturing, attentive and kind; she helped the dog start to come out of her shell and the dog was very attached to Katelyn; this connection helped the dog be ready to be adopted by a forever home. Katelyn will care for anyone's pet the same as she would if it was her own.
