Pet care experience
I grew up in Richmond, VA with dogs all my life. Upon moving to NY in 2014, I immediately missed being around my family dogs on a daily basis. I adopted an adorable cat in 2017 to fulfill my animal craving until I had more space to accommodate a dog of my own. My partner and I adopted a rescue puppy over quarantine and he’s the absolute best thing to have gained over these trying times. Over my lifetime, my family grew up with 5 different Bernese Mountain Dogs and 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I also worked in a dog boarding and training kennel in Richmond for two years. I am looking to take care of any and all pups while I am in the onboarding process of a new job as a Physician Assistant. I am also willing to go on runs with any dogs that enjoy that activity!

We need someone that we can trust with not only our pets but coming into our home when we're not there. I thought Katelyn was really respectful and down to earth to us. Messi is cautious with people a lot so I needed to do a quick meet and greet with him to make sure he's comfortable in the future. When she arrived, Messi was totally fine and open with her, and he even started licking her leg! lol It was a nice interaction and we look forward to hiring her in the future!!
Katelyn was great with our cat, who came out for meals, even though she’s usually afraid of everyone. Arranging everything with Katelyn was super easy, and any time I asked a question during my trip she replied very quickly. I am definitely booking her again for future pet sitting. Thanks!
