I work full time from home as a graphic designer in a comfy studio. My schedule pretty flexible - and what better way to supplement my income than to spend time with some dogs and cats! I live in the Gourmet Ghetto area, very close to Live Oak Park. Of course, I love dogs (they give me a great excuse to get out and walk around my beautiful neighborhood - if your dog is up for it I'd love to take it on a more challenging trek up the hills!) and have over 15 years of experience caring for friend's and family's pets. I also grew up with three cats, one of which only just passed at the golden age of 19. My dog-watching experience ranges from a super high-energy Malamute puppy, to an over-protective Husky mix who needed extra attention on walks, to an elderly Teacup Chihuahua who had past trauma that required hand-feeding twice a day, to name a few. I'm obviously also a big fan of cats, and as mentioned I have experience caring for elderly cats with medicinal needs, as well as boarded a Ragamuffin kitty for two weeks, which was such a treat. I am no stranger to giving pets the attention (or space!) that they need. I don't currently have any pets of my own, so there will be no competition there. *Please note there is a catch with dog boarding at my home - as mentioned I do live in a studio and share walls with a couple of neighbors, one of which is unfortunately quite sensitive to noise. If your dog is an occasional barker, that's totally fine! But if they're really vocal, i.e. when left alone during a quick errand, out of respect for my neighbors we may not be a good fit.
