24/7 Care - as if they were my own!
Pet care experience
Growing up in a dog-loving family, I am no stranger to all types of breeds and personalities. I’ve gotten to live with and love many dogs over the years from the laid back Lab to the smarty pants Aussie, and even the sassy Husky. I’ve completed training courses with several of my dogs, and have rehabilitated a rescue from aggression to a point of absolute trust and love. I have a ton of patience and have a natural instinct for understanding a pets behaviors and needs. I would love to take care of your fur baby and give them the attention they deserve while you’re away.

Thank you Kate and Sully!🩷🐶 would highly recommend to anyone looking for a sitter who may be new to rover or overprotective about their dog like I am. Kate gave multiple updates throughout the day and eased my concerns about leaving my pup. I didn’t feel anxious at all during my trip and am looking forward to rebooking again in the future. Sully is also a sweetheart and my dog already misses him! Thank you guys again🐾
Katelyn was such a great host. Very friendly and communicative with multiple daily updates which put me at ease leaving my Henry boy while on vacation.
I cannot emphasize how fabulous Katelyn is.
Katelyn was great! I immediately felt at ease dropping my corgi off with her. She was super communicative and gave me regular updates about how Buddha was doing. Plus her Australian Shepard was a great buddy to my dog. Would definitely book her again!

When your dog is with me, you will never have to worry about them getting out. I’m extremely diligent about this because it’s one of my own worst fears when I leave my pup with someone else. Our yard is fully fenced, but still no dogs go outside without a human to supervise. The fence is double padlocked but still checked before they are let out. I also set up a secondary barricade around my front door that we step over whenever we have a furry house guest, to ensure they can’t even try to make a run for it. If we take the dogs out for any reason, we use a regular leash with a secondary hands free leash and have multiple sized non-slip harnesses for double the safety. I have experience with reactive dogs and am not afraid of having one stay with us. Our own Aussie is leash reactive and we’re familiar with how to avoid reactivity and training methods to mitigate it and keep them far away from triggers. Should our dogs have any beef at any point, they can be separated. We have multiple rooms and pet gates to keep them apart. This has never been an issue, but we’re always prepared regardless. If there is anything you need at any point, I’m available to contact. I will give you my personal cell phone to call or text any time and will be providing updates as much as you would like. Your pup will have access to all of our home (couch, bed, etc.) unless of course you don’t want them to. Our home is their home and we aim to maintain their normal routine. It has never happened before, but for your peace of mind: In the rare chance there is ever ANY kind of emergency, I assure you that your dog will receive the same diligence and urgency I have about my own. If anything even slightly seems off, I’ll communicate that with you. I want you to be fully aware of how your dog is doing and that we have their safety in the forefront of our minds.

Information Katelyn O. would like to know about your pet
Most important: Behavioral issues (reactivity or aggression), medical issues/needs, daily routine, veterinary information. Don’t be afraid to reach out if your pet is a little more “high maintenance” we’re experienced and comfortable with it! Extra: toys and treats they can/cannot have. If they can be left alone at all or if they like to do some redecorating (aka, chewing up carpet, moulding, furniture, etc.).
A typical day
Anything that is your dogs normal routine! We want them to feel at home. From a walk around the neighborhood, or fetch in the yard to simply lazing in the sun, or snuggling up on the couch!

I work completely remote on an East Coast schedule and start my days around 4-5am and wrap up work around 2pm (meaning the rest of the day is all for the pups!) My Aussie is my best and most supportive coworker, often making guest appearances on my virtual meetings since he’s glued to my side. My schedule is always in my hands and my team is supportive to cover my meetings and calls if I need to step away, so rest assured your pup will always come first. We live in a 3 bed 2.5 bath home with lots of room to run around and a fenced in yard with a double padlocked gate. I have indoor gates to separate the dogs for feeding or if otherwise necessary. Overall, our home and neighborhood are quiet and tucked away so rest assured your pup will feel comfortable, calm, and safe here with us! I also do not mind working on basic commands, or continuing to practice/reinforce any you already have in place. My Aussie knows how to bow, high five, speak, and whisper (in addition to standard basic commands) which are all self-taught, so if you’d like your pup to learn let me know and I’ll try to work it in!
