***Please read bio for availability before booking a walk or drop-in visit*** I am available Thursday-Monday from 6-8AM and 5-10PM, available all day Tuesday/Wednesday. I recently adopted a dog of my own, which forced me to take a break from petsitting. But I am back and ready to work! I moved to Baltimore, Maryland from Virginia in the fall of 2016. I currently work full-time as a zookeeper at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, but even so I have found that I still have quite a bit of free time on my hands after work and on my weekends (which are currently Tuesday/Wednesday since the zoo is open everyday of the week). And I couldn't think of a better way to spend that time than looking after some adorable cats and dogs! Throughout college I worked at a variety of boarding kennels as well as an animal shelter and vet clinic as a veterinary assistant. From all these experiences I learned how to work with a variety of dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, ages and temperaments. During this time I was also responsible for cleaning up after, medicating, feeding, and exercising the dogs and cats under my care. I look forward to taking care of your furry friend(s)!

Katelyn is great! My puppy is 120 lbs and she had no problems at all. She's an excellent communicator and really knows what she's doing!
I recommend Katelyn without reservation. Our meet & greet was comprehensive and she inspired great confidence. I like that we live close to each other. Katelyn made 2 drop in visits (PM and AM) to feed and medicate my 15 year old kitty (has hyperthyroid condition and is a picky eater) while I was traveling out of the country and my regular cat sitter had to step away. Katelyn communicated with me via What's App to let me know how Eme was doing, reported on how she was eating, and let me know she'd vomited once. It was comforting to hear her say she stuck around to be sure Eme was ok. She is mature, loving, and overall a really nice person.
Katelyn provided our dog with exceptional care!! She made our dog comfortable and treated him as her own! We would recommend Katelyn as a wonderful sitter!

As a child, my family had golden retrievers and a Siberian husky so I would be lying to say I am not slightly partial to those breeds. However, I don't think I have ever met a dog (or cat for that matter) I didn't like!
A typical day
I will do whatever your dog or cat likes best! Whether that means long walks in the park, playing fetch in the backyard, cuddles on the couch or just some good old-fashioned belly rubs!

I have a very short commute to work and a very stable 40 hour work week. This allows me a lot of free time around my full-time job.
