Pet care experience
If you're looking for someone who can keep your dog fully entertained, I'm your gal! My husband and I moved here from North Carolina in June 2020 for my husband's new position at the Naval Academy. Currently, I am a stay at home mom (two children in the home). We have a Husky named Balto. We usually go 2-4 miles a day between our morning run and daily walks. We're an active little family and enjoy being outside. We are always looking for more furry friends to play with! I've have experience with small-large size dogs. I grew up on a small farm in Iowa with animals like cattle, sheep, chickens, ducks, dogs, and cats. I love all animals and would love to welcome your fur babies into my home!

Katelyn was so awesome taking care of Eva. She sent so many photos and was always so quick to respond to my messages and changing plans. Her dog is so sweet, even to Eva (my 8lb toy poodle). Highly recommend!
Katelyn is amazing with Gary. We are so thankful we found her and hope she'll always have availability when we are out of town. Gary loves the kids/family, loves Balto, and loves walks with Katelyn. We can't thank her enough!
Kate was so great and accommodating ! She was a great communicator and so good with my dog. He felt so comfortable with her . I got lots of updates and pictures which I was happy to receive without having to ask. Def recommend using her and will continue using her in the future! Wish I could give her 6 stars!
Katelyn is always great. I'm happy to leave my cat with her whenever necessary. She's very communicative, and always sends multiple pics and videos. I couldn't ask for a better sitter 10/10 would recommend.

I have a small, unfenced back yard, large back deck (in case your dog likes to sun bathe, like mine) and a small front yard. The neighborhood is dog friendly with trails through the woods and a park right down the street.

Before sitting, I would like to know the dog's tendencies. Its' nice to know if the dog is friendly with other dogs and children, what he/she likes to do for exercise, etc. I don't have any preferences as far as breeds. I do have a toddler in the home. Although he is used to being around dogs, I would keep him a safe distance from new comers just to be on the safe side. I would like to know if your dog has been around children. If they are uneasy around kids, my home might not be the best fit for doggy daycare or overnight visits.
A typical day
We live in a very friendly neighborhood and enjoy runs into the trails in the morning and walks in the neighborhood in the afternoon. We occasionally go to the park down the street when it is empty to play fetch.
