Pet care experience
My passion for understanding dog behavior started 4 years ago and landed me managing an open play style doggie daycare in Ocean City, where we build and practice basic dog manners. Being in a position that accesses dog behavior, spending more time with dogs than people is a regular day for me. From birthing and raising litters of puppies, to holding hands as our beloved companions pass - I have have had so many great opportunities to learn about pet care. I own one rescued and rehabilitated husky named Scully who is very well socialized, he "works" at the daycare and joins me on all kinds of adventures. (If your dog is not well socialized we can make arrangements!) We look forward to your pup- goofy or gray - joining our pack!

I have had the pleasure of working with Katelyn for almost a year and I wish I had 10 more of her. She is a very responsible individual, reliable, dedicated, personable, trustworthy and most of all does everything with pride and heart. I personally have 2 dogs of my own and would not hesitate to leave them in her care, knowing full well they will be fine. I can honestly say there are few people I would leave my dog with but there is no doubt with her! She is the BEST!!!!
I’ve worked with Katelyn for at least 3 years now & have been her best friend for over 5. She has NEVER called out & although i work Housekeeping & she’s front desk, all i hear are compliments about her throughout the hotel. That goes hand in hand with this because they are DOG friendly! She LOVES her animals, pups to be specific, but she doesn’t have one, so this would make life easier on whoever needs her to watch the animals because she is second to none & it will also make her very very happy. They said your job should be something you love doing & saying she loves taking care of dogs is an understatement. She’s the one you need!

A typical day
Activities that I enjoy doing with dogs vary from bathing to socializing. Your dog is more than welcome to join me for daycare on days that I work (Vaccines required. Additional fees may apply- please message me for more details!) We can also walk the quiet trails of Parsonsburg and Salisbury, whether its a relaxing walk on the beach or a structured walk in home depot I love doing it all!
