Pet care experience
I grew up with a dog that I loved very much, and have dog-watched, walked, and boarded for other people since then. I am always open to dog watching for the day, or dropping in and walking your dogs! I love going on long trail walks (if they're up for it) or just hanging out with them. I recently adopted my own dog a few months ago and can no longer board for other dogs.

Katelyn is a wonderful and trustworthy person who loves animals and has a special bond with them. She has watched my cat multiple times and is always my first choice whenever I need any help with animal care. She is kind, responsive, understanding, easy to get along with, and truly cares for animals. I've seen her foster a dog and was amazed at how quickly the dog absolutely fell in love with her above any of the other people the dog interacted with. I have zero hesitation with trusting or recommending Katelyn with any and all animal care whether it be short term or long term.
Katelyn has taken care of many different types of pets when I was her roommate and she always gave them the most excellent care. She recently took care of a dog for a couple of months that had really terrible anxiety and she made it a point to go above and beyond to make her comfortable. From making her the coziest bed, to taking her on super fun hikes she made her anxiety go away over the weeks. She really is intuitive and welcoming to any animal she meets and you can tell by how instantly dogs warm up to her! I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Katelyn is so thoughtful and meticulous as a caregiver. She’s super observant about any changes going on with the dogs she’s watching and puts a lot of effort into ensuring every need is attended to. She would make a perfect dog mom one day

I live in an apartment complex but my roommates and I love animals, and love going for walks. We have many parks nearby. We do have 2 flights of stairs into the apartment! If your pet isn't comfortable taking stairs, I can hold them if they are comfortable with that. Care for pets in a client's home is always going to be handled with respect and cleanliness. I am absolutely aware of the trust it takes to bring someone in to watch your pet!

A typical day
I love to go on trail walks with dogs! There are so many beautiful parks and trails by me, just a short walk or drive away. I also love to go on hikes for particularly active dogs. Or, if they just like to play with a toy, I can do that with them until they get bored of it :)

Availability
I currently work full-time but work from home twice a week, with flexible availability on the weekends. I can do pet care when I'm working from home, or go for a hearty walk after 5pm any weekday!
