Pet care experience
Hello! I have had my own pets and have taken care of friends’ pets since I was in high school. I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I have fostered animals and am quite skilled at getting animals to take their meds! I have a large Swiss Mountain Dog and two domestic short hair cats that. Both of my cats are friendly with other animals, but they prefer to keep to themselves (a doggie gate separates them from visiting pets). My pup is an old man and gets along with most dogs. I prefer meet and greets to ensure everyone gets along before confirming bookings. I promise to care for your pets like they are my own!

Katelyn is a fantastic dog sitter. She sends regular updates, is prompt with replies and is very easy to work with. My puppy was well taken care of and had a wonderful time with her dog, and the other dogs in her care. She’s always excited to stay with Katelyn!
Our Aussiedoodle, Clara, enjoyed her stay with Katelyn. She gave us updates on how Clara was doing which was appreciated since this was Clara’s first time being away from us overnight. There were other dogs for our high energy puppy to play with so she had a great time. Very tired when we got her home but she was very content.
She was great. Made sure to send me pictures and was super accommodating with drop off and pick up. She made sure to give the dogs lots of exercise and have them burn off energy. I highly recommend her!

I have a fenced yard and lots of toys to keep your pups occupied. While my pets get along with other animals, animals from different households are not allowed to interact unsupervised. Animals with aggression or separation anxiety (chewing, clawing, etc. when alone) will be kenneled when unsupervised. Otherwise, well behaved pups will have free range of the house when unsupervised.

Please let me know your dogs special needs or behaviors when booking so I can make appropriate arrangements. While I have experience with many breeds with varying temperaments, I need to be prepared so I can make your pet’s experience as pleasant as possible.
A typical day
Playtime in the backyard is where we spend most our time. Toys, balls, and space to run provide lots of entertainment. When the weather keeps us indoors walks, puzzles, and cuddles keep the furry friends occupied.

Availability
Pets will get indoor or outdoor playtime (weather permitting) in my large fully fenced backyard and walks in the mornings and evenings. Depending on the day of the week they will also get a potty break mid-day. On weekends they gets lots more playtime and walks.
