Pet care experience
I have been caring for pets for over 10 years. I provide a cozy environment for any furry friend. As a former military spouse, I have watched many of my friend’s pets and developed a bond with each one. Also, I have had pets if my own almost my entire life. I have owned 2 energetic Springer Spaniels and one amazing cat. I have such a soft spot for animals and enjoy caring for them as well as I can. With lots of cuddles and hugs, I’ll provide your dog with lots of care and love.

Spicer (border collie) was taken care of wonderfully by Katelyn. We brought him over one evening to meet her and see the home a bit so the stay would be more comfortable. He seemed immediately comfortable. He is active and loves to play and it appears he got plenty of that and was happy. She sent us photos almost daily during his week stay along with a video of him playing. Katelyn was easy to communicate/reach both before and during the trip and had him packed up and ready to go when I arrived (which Spicer appreciated). I will definitely reach out to Katelyn first the next time we need a sitter.

I usually worry when leaving my fur babies but with Katelyn I had no worries. She kept me up to date on how they had been doing as well as the care she provided them was excellent. I can't thank her enough! Words can't describe my gratitude!

The most important thing I need to know is the dog is gentle. I love all dogs but in the season of life I’m currently in, I prefer dogs who aren’t overly rough and who will walk on the leash without pulling me (for their safety and mine). Also, I cannot accept any dog with a history of aggression.
A typical day
I love to take dogs to our apartment dog park. I love to see them freely and happily running around. I love to practice little tricks and reward them with treats. We love to play inside as well! Some days are lazy days but I can say I will do my best to make your fur baby feel loved.
