A part time job at our family veterinary clinic during college, and then on to 10 years of working for a local clinic, as well as working in human medicine - I am well equipped to care for your family as if they are my own. I would highly recommend Kate as a pet sitter. I have had her take care of my three cats multiple times now and she has done an amazing job. I have pets that require close supervision because of various medical conditions and she was easily able to handle that. I felt very comfortable with her taking care of my cats, especially since she had worked as a veterinary assistant for years. She is very responsible and excellent at communication. She would keep in close contact while I was out of town and send regular updates about my babies. I loved working with her! Once again, highly recommend her!

A typical day
I am a fairly active individual, and can accommodate different levels of exercise and socialization. Having lived with herding breeds for years, I am used to a high level of engagement and activity that includes fetch, Frisbee, dog park visits, hikes, runs, walks, and all the toys ALL the time. I also like to sit and read a book and enjoy some quiet bonding time with animals of all sorts. If in need of pet sitting in your home, I am willing to travel up to 40 miles - or maybe more, depending on the situation and timing! Shoot me a message if this applies to you.

Availability
I work part time at a local (human) hospital. On these days (3-4 days a week) I can utilize my lunch break for check ins. My schedule at the hospital varies in both days and hours, frequently resulting in 4-5 day runs off, so just send me a message and we may be able to work something out!
