Pet care experience
When I was 9 years old, I began taking care of my neighbors cats, with my mom, while they traveled. I have since started taking care of them on my own, feeding them, scooping the litter box, and playing with them. In the past couple of years, I have given those same cats oral medication as well as feeding them and giving them all the love! This past year I have also begun taking care of another neighbor’s two dogs, paying them a visit multiple times a day, feeding them, and playing with them. I am also a volunteer at Montgomery County Animal Shelter in Christiansburg!

Kate is wonderful. My dog is rather stubborn and not easy to handle. I mistakenly booked a dog walking instead of drop-in visits when I'm out of town. When issues arose and the walking didn't fit her schedule anymore, Kate showed full understanding and finished the walks. A very responsible dog caretaker.
Kate did a wonderful job with drop in visits for Millie! She gave detailed summaries at the end of each visit. We will definitely look for her next time we need someone from Rover.

I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of my dog while I was away! Kate was so caring, thoughtful and kind. I loved not only the notes Kate would leave per visit but the pictures she sent of my sweet girl while I was away. ♥️ I would trust Kate to watch my sweet girl again :)

Whether it be fetch, tug of war, or just running around outside, I love playing with pets! We’ll go on walks, play with their favorite toys, and even go to the new dog park in Christiansburg!

I am a recent high school graduate with a part-time job. I mainly work in the evenings so we may have to discuss what specific times in the evenings I can visit your pets. I will likely be able to make multiple visits on my selected days and/or spend more time with your pets!
