Kate was absolutely amazing. She accommodated us last minute and handled our two rambunctious dogs without a second thought. She sent plenty of updates. It’s a relief knowing we have someone we can trust to care for our dogs with the same passion that we would.

Kate is always my go to sitter for my puppy Moose! She is almost always available when i have to book last minute and even volunteers to pick him up and drop him off at my house. Since Kate works from home, i can rest assured that Moose is not just sitting in a crate all day. She takes him on morning walks and sends me SO many amazing pictures. I cannot recommend Kate enough!

Kate was so communicative and great. She took Jacks on walks and sent lots of pictures. I came home to a very happy dog.

Reliable and Energetic Pet-Sitter

Thank you for considering me for the important job of taking care of your pet. I have been watching animals for neighbors and friends since I was a teenager, and 2019 marks my fourth year as a pet-sitter on Rover. I live with my husband Wade in an animal friendly house with a yard that is located right on the Greenway in East Nashville. We promise to treat your pet as we would our own ...

What Kate would like to know about your dog

How does your dog like to spend its time?
How is your dog around other animals, other dogs and cats in particular? *We recently rescued a young friendly male 60 lb. mutt named SweetieBoo - he is currently a shop/outdoors dog. We need to know how your dog is with other animals so we can either a) properly introduce them on our meet and greet or b) keep them separated for the duration of the stay.
How is your dog on leash? Is it best to keep him or her away from other dogs we might encounter?
Where does your dog like to sleep?
Is your dog anxious? If so, do you have any tricks or tips for things that work best to put him or her at ease?
Does your dog have any health concerns? Is there anything particular that I should be on the look-out for, or take extra care doing?
What rules do you keep at your house? I'd love to know things like if you let your dogs on furniture etc. so I can keep everything as consistent as possible while you're away.

When Kate watches your pet

I am a planner and fun lover by nature, and I would be sure to plan out many activities that your dog would enjoy if we were to spend time together! What we would do together would depend on your dog's preferences - but I could imagine us loving to taking many walks at Shelby Bottoms, taking a hike at Percy Warner, or running around playing in my backyard. Or we could just as happily spend time hanging around the house cuddling!
