Pet care experience
Hello, I’m Kate! I’ve worked as a kennel tech in two boarding facilities, both of which had hospitals. I know how stressful new things can be for pets so I always strive for a peaceful visit. I’m extremely patient, I have experience giving medicines to animals, and I never get sick of them! I understand that not all pets are alike, some want to be loved on 24/7 and others may want to keep their distance, so I will respect whatever they want. I’m comfortable with exotics, though instruction is always helpful! Watering plants, bringing in mail, and regular communication with clients are all things I can do! I have experience assisting groomers, and am looking to become one myself! I can’t do haircuts yet (unless you’re veeerrryy laid back) but i can do de shedding and stink removal! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me! I have a rabbit of my own,his name is Puck! Unfortunately dogs aren’t allowed in my apartment complex. Oh and I sit human babies too:) ps-housesitters love when u have funny keys

Kate did an excellent job caring for our fur babies while we were gone. She sent pictures of our pets and administered medicine to our cat. I felt at ease knowing she was here.
Kate does a great job with our doggies. She has sat for them twice!
Kate was great with Lucy. Lucy is an older dog, 15, and can make messes but Kate was so good with her. Lucy was very happy with her sitter.

I try to keep the home exactly how i found it, so the pet doesn’t feel even more thrown off balance. If i have company, its only with permission, and only someone i’d trust to be respectful. The last thing I want is to add stress to your pets life.

A typical day
Long walks, usually in the morning before it gets too warm. Lots of treats, cuddles, playtime. I can even take your pup to the dog park if he or she enjoys that!

I’m a gig worker, so this is my full time job. I adjust my schedule for pet sitting because its my passion and there’s no other way i’d rather spend me days!
