Pet care experience
I have an easy personality with both people and dogs. I have always grown up with dogs and cats in my home. I’ve had American Eskimos, full breed Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, and also have had a couple litters go through my family. I believe all dogs have a special connection with humans. They can sense how we feel and they have great people reading skills... maybe more than humans. Dogs know how to love you and are probably the most heart-filled and loyal creatures on earth. Dogs and cats are more than just pets, but they become a part of us. We give them a piece of our heart and we love them like our own child. I respect animals and can usually read them pretty well and guess what they want.
Reviews
Kate loves dogs and is an energetic sitter for our Border Collie. She walks and runs with her and even takes her to the nearby park. I’ve trusted Kate to care for our dog for quite a while! You will love her!

I prefer to take care of the pet in their own environment, this helps with the separation anxiety as well as introducing a new person into their life. I allow them to maintain their normal routine and be a part of their playtime (playing fetch, running with them, wrestling in the yard...).

I’d like to know how your dog responds to other dogs. Is s/he timid or aggressive around new dogs? What does your dog enjoy doing at home? Does s/he like a particular treat? Is there a dog park you prefer? How well does s/he respond to verbal commands?
A typical day
I will take your dog on an extended walk 2-3 times per day in your neighborhood or park close by. I will also bring a ball or frisbee to play fetch.

Availability
Pets have to be taken care of like a teenager. You feed them, make sure they exercise to let out their energy, allow them to be affectionate, and show them that you care for them in return.
