Here to care for your fur babies!

Pet care experience

**If my calender shows that house sitting is booked please reach out to me first!** - Fully Licensed, Insured & Bonded - Can provide a complete background check Thanks for coming by! I am so happy you are here and it’s a pleasure to meet you. I hope to hear from you soon! I apologize in advance for the length of my profile. My goal is to answer as many of the questions that you may have in advance before you hit the “contact me” button. A little about me: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10 when I worked at my grandparents boarding kennel for years. As I have gotten older, I have worked at Shelters, Doggy Daycares, and Boarding Facilities! As well as this I have walked dogs of all sizes from chihuahuas to cane corsos, etc. I am also experienced with trimming nails and giving baths & blowouts. I know basic dog obedience training and enrichment exercises, and I understand dog behavior. I have raised puppies and have also trained puppies! As well as this I have experience giving all types of medications from eye drops to large or small pills to ointment, etc. I am very experienced with walking dogs of all sizes, I will work on any existing training that you are working on if needed as well. And don't worry you will receive TONS of pictures from our walks. I can guarantee your pup will be worn out and happy when they come home! For most services we will go on snifari walks! These are basically walks where I will throw treats down while on leash and they will go and find them! It is a great way to make the walk even more fun! Furthermore, I do have my associates in business management! It has always been my goal to eventually build from the ground up my own dog boarding and daycare facility! As well as this I am more then just cat and dog experienced! I also have experience caring for bunnies, hamsters, mice, rats, fish, chickens, chinchillas and guinea pigs! Lastly, growing up I also rode horses for 16 years! Overall, no matter if you have more then dogs and cats I can care for them all! ~~

Kate is amazing! She cared for my pets as if they were her own. Additionally, Kate is very knowledgeable in animal care and needs. She contacted me multiple times a day to give me updates, she was clear with her expectations of me as the pet owner from before her sitting services started which showed me she was responsible and professional. During her stay with my pups, there as an accident (which had nothing to do with Kate's care) in which one of my dogs required emergency attention. Kate immediately called me, sent me images of the injury and then drove to Cornell at 9pm, stayed with my dog throughout the visit and returned home with my dog at 4am. She continuously communicated with me throughout the entire ordeal. I cannot express the gratitude I have for her attention to my dog during this injury. Kate is just an amazing pet sitter and I would hire her again in a heartbeat. Thank you Kate for being so wonderful with all my fur babies!

Simply put, Kate is fantastic. She truly went above and beyond my expectations for a drop in visit with my puppy!! In my experience, she is trustworthy, had great communication, kept me updated about everything and answered any questions I had! I trust her judgement and am so grateful to her for spending time training, feeding, walking, bathing, and of course, playing and snuggling my little furry dear one while I was unable to. I can't say enough good things and I would highly recommend her. She is worth her weight in gold! Thank you so much, Kate!

Safety and Trust: As you may know, Safety and trust are the most important factors when choosing a pet sitter. You want to make sure they have adequate experience and knowledge to work for you and your pets. When you choose me as your pet care provider, you don’t have to worry about anything becoming dirty, stained, broken or anything else along these lines. I will always remain only in the approved rooms of the house, and I will never go anywhere outside of those boundaries. I will be with your pet 24/7 and you will always receive updates!! Though, I can guarantee that I will not stain, damage, or break anything, etc. I CANNOT guarantee that your pet will not chew something, or break something if you do not have me crate them overnight, or if I am away. It is very common that pets become more anxious and sad when their owners leave, even if they are in their own home. I do my absolute 100% best to comfort them in every way possible but when they are alone, they may do behaviors they don't usually do especially with a new person. ~~

Information Kate W. would like to know about your pet

It is important for an owner to let a pet sitter know about any allergies a pet has. Triggers are also good to know. I just need to know medication and health issues in advance. Communication is key to having a good persisting/training experience. It does not bother me but I do need to know if your pet has any anxiety or aggression with strangers so we can do more meet and greet, and trial sitting runs before your trip. Communication with each other is key to a successful stay. If you have never hired a pet sitter before, I will do everything possible to make you feel comfortable. I have written a lot in my profile only to make sure I answered any questions you may have. If you have any more, I am always available to chat and speak to you. I am very friendly and outgoing. You can be confident that I will treat your pet with all the love and attention that I give my own and take my job seriously as this is my only job. - Has any allergies or needs any medication. - Has any special needs - Needs to be crated - Likes other dogs and cats - Any toy aggression - Any food aggression - Not house trained -- (not litter box trained) - Is high energy - Needs any special collar or harness on walks - What they enjoy doing and what the dislike

A typical day

What will your fur baby do while you are away?: ~~ We will play lots of games, puzzle boards and more! I like to enrich your pet so we will practice some tricks, old or new, and practice their mental skills with the puzzle boards! As well as go on many walks, have many play times, and cuddle sessions, ect! Besides all of these fun activities my favorite thing to do is doggy, kitty, bunny, you name it, photoshoots!! You will receive daily pictures and videos of your baby so you know he or she is happy, healthy and safe. ~~
