Pet care experience
I grew up with every kind of pet from dogs to snakes and guinea pigs. I've had my own personal pets for over 10 years and love to foster whenever I can. I provide exceptional care for furry companions of all breeds and sizes. From daily walks, playtime, feeding and administering medication, to over night stays and regular updates to pet parents. I strive to make sure every pet feels loved, comfortable and happy while in my care. I understand that every pet has their own unique personal needs, and I am committed to providing individualized attention and care to ensure their well-being.

Kate did an amazing job dropping in on my older pup. She came by on time, provided detailed updates, and followed all of our specific feeding instructions. It's great finding someone so responsible and trustworthy to take care of my little one. I'm so glad to have found her and recommend her 100%!
I don’t know anyone who loves animals more than Kate! She loves her dog and cat and fosters animals whenever she can. I’ve had her watch my cat for a week and I couldn’t have felt more comfortable leaving them together. 10/10 would recommend!
Kate is THE BEST! She has a bleeding heart for animals and she treats every animal as if they are her own. She is my go-to when I need someone to walk or watch my 3 year old lab, Axel. She has a dog of her own that is SO sweet and docile (our dogs have actually become best friends). She is very responsible, attentive and sends frequent photos/updates! Bonus- she is very active and her walks are not for sissies!! I know that Axel is always well cared for when she's with Kate!

Currently I do not offer day care or stay overs at my house because I have several pets of my own. When caring for a pet in a client's home and out on walks/activities, I prioritize safety and trust above all else. I understand that leaving your furry family member in someone else's care can be a stressful experience, which is why I make it my mission to provide the highest level of care possible. I make sure to proactively communicate with a client about their needs, expectations, and personality of their pet. I believe a meet and greet prior to services for the first time is always a good idea.

For stay overs or drop in visits, I require a meet and greet before to make sure we are a good fit. For walks I just ask that you have 3-5 minutes to meet before the first walk. Some important things to let me know when requesting a service: - What type of animal/breed - Age - Temperament - Any medical needs, disabilities, or behavioral issues - This does not dissuade me from accepting a booking request. Its good to know up front so I can make sure I'm able to let you know if I am a qualified fit for your animal. Their safety and care is a priority to me and as long as I feel I can provide them with the appropriate care then I'm happy to accept pets with a wide range of needs.
A typical day
I tailor my activities based on the animal I'm providing care for. If you have an active puppy or just an energetic dog, I am happy to take them hiking and provide stimulating activities. If you are comfortable with them interacting with my dog then can we get tons of play time and provide socialization. If your dog is older, special needs, or shy/fearful then I will provide the best care for their individualized needs. Whether that is snuggling up and relaxing or slow solo walks, my care possibilities are wide ranging.

I am currently taking a break from the corporate world and working remotely part-time. I love animals and have a lot more free time on my hands for the next 6-12months. I would love to spend some of this time caring for animals.
