Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs of all breeds and sizes! I have always been the main dog-care-taker in my family, and in the past few years, I have gained experienced caring for neighbor's and co-worker's pets. I care for other's dogs as if they were my own. I make sure the dog has enough play time (at least two walks a day, or whatever the owner recommends) as well as enough love :) Before moving recently, I volunteered at the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region for three years as an Adoption Matchmaker, Dog Walker, and Foster Care parent. I helped people decide which dog was best for their living environment, cleaned dog kennels, took dogs for walks, and helped cats and dogs heal from an illness or grow stronger before adoption. Needless to say, I love animals!

I was excited to have Kate watch our two dogs and our bunny for three nights. She seemed friendly when I met her and I mentioned I couldn't list the bunny as an animal on rover, so I would pay her $20 a night to feed the bunny once daily. I thought this was fair, and Kate did not say otherwise UNTIL midnight the day of our flight... she asked for full dog-sitting rate per night to put spinach in a bowl for a bunny three times. I thought this was incredibly rude to request more money knowing we would not have time to book another sitter. I would not have minded if she gave us this request earlier, so I could have found another sitter. We had to rush around and try to get to an ATM before our 5am flight so she could have $100+ for feeding a bunny 3 times. Disappointed :(
First time I had to leave my puppy and Kate took great care of him.
Kate was amazing, she sent us daily updates and photos. Took Rocko on walks and hikes which made him a very happy pup! She was able to stay at the house with him so he wasn’t alone and such a great house guest. We will be using Kate again when we need help with Rocko!
This was our first time using a sitter for our pups and they were extremely well cared for! A huge thanks to Kate for being very communicative and putting us at ease that our boys were safe and happy. As a bonus, our house was just as tidy as we left it. Would recommend Kate to anyone!
