Pet care experience
My passion is taking care of animals. I plan to become a veterinarian after I finish college at UVA. I have had all sorts of animals - ducks, snakes, dogs, cats, and other reptiles, so I know how to handle many animals at once and also have a deep understanding of how to take care of those animals.

Over the years I have seen Kate care for numerous animals, each with love and compassion. She has cared for a multitude of dogs over the years, I have full faith in her ability as a loving dog caregiver!
Kate is amazing with animals. She has been over multiple times to take care of my dog Nellie and every time I have come back Nellie has been happy and bright. She has never left a mess and has always taken the best care of my dog. I think she would be a great care giver because of how loving and responsible she is towards animals and all people too.
Kate was so great! My family and I went away for 2 weeks to Florida and when we came back our dog was happy and healthy. She took him on a long walk every day which is great because Cooper(dog) is really active. Also, we have two cats. You may not think this matters but one of them has anxiety and usually acts out when we go away. While Kate was babysitting our cat had zero incidents(peeing on the floor). This is evidence of how much her presence comforts animals.
I don’t know how this girl did it, but she’s a dog whisperer. My newest puppy has a problem uncontrollably peeing every time he was to eat/ go outside/ or wants to hump other dogs. She was able to fix this problem COMPLETELY! I got free dog training with my dog sitter! Kate is so talented, kind, and a complete natural with the doggos! 10/10 5 Stars Recommend she also made me a really good chicken parm just for fun!

I have 2 dogs who are very friendly with humans and other dogs, so they would love to have other pups to play with! We have a fenced in area in the backyard if your dog(s) like spending more time outdoors. I also live directly next to the Potomac river, so our backyard is basically hiking grounds, and we take our dogs on hikes every morning.

I love to play with the dogs, so they will get lots of exercise! In addition to that, I have a great hiking trail behind my house where I love taking the dogs, and I live right next to the great falls park where we can explore!

Availability
I’m working part-time right now before I go off to college, so I have plenty of time to take care of each animal! I can board pretty much any day needed for extended periods of time if you are going on vacation or anything. I tend to be a little more busy on weekends, but I can still make time to take care of the animals!
