Someone who misses being able to walk their dog
Pet care experience
I grew up around animals and miss being able to walk my parents dog every day. I know how to meet each animal at their own needs and let them trust me in their own time. In lockdown my neighbour became bed bound for 2 years with a 4 month old puppy, I took on her daily walks and puppy training, and enjoyed every second of it (even in the rain)

Good communication and Sacha was very happy with Kate
Kate was amazing at looking after our beloved dog Bolt. She housesat in our home for 5 days, sent daily updates and really got to know him in that time so she could provide the best care possible. She followed all instructions and really went above and beyond to make sure he was taken care of. Kate left our house clean and tidy. We will definitely be asking Kate back again! Couldn't recommend her more :)
Kate looked after our cats for nearly a week, coming in twice daily to feed etc, both cats were well cared for and happy when we came home, even the one who doesn’t like new people or being left! Would highly recommend & will use again.

When I do a home visit I will bring a book and sit while the pet takes their time to trust me, once I have their trust I'll sit and play/cuddle them.

If there is specifically places to avoid or if they are not heel trained when walking (just good to know what kind of walk I am anticipating). If they have a maximum distance (some dogs with bad hips can't go too far, or need to be on grass)
A typical day
Usually they will get a walk that is about an hour, maybe more if they still seem like they have energy to burn. On the walks I will follow their lead and I'll always try and get them to a green space where we can run around.

Availability
I'm lucky to have a job with Flexi hours, so I can pop out through out the day as and when I want to. I have a bike so I can get to places easily and quickly.
