Pet care experience
We have both cared for a wide range of dogs and other animals for over 20years. We both grew up in rural areas (Cornwall & Aberdeenshire) so love to head out into the countryside for long, fun walks and also understand the importance of care and attention for animals when out on walks. We have our own dog, Kip, who is a friendly, playful 2 year old Bedlington X Whippet who would love to spend time with other dogs. She is generous with her space and will definitely make any other dogs feel welcome! We have lots of toys, treats and dog games to entertain them too. From our own experiences with Kip, we fully understand the need to stick to your dogs schedule so will make sure to adhere to this and any instructions for their personal care. Additionally, we understand the need to build up trust with a dog sitter so will work with you to make sure you are fully comfortable before leaving your dog with us.

We have a fully secure garden with large grass area for the dogs to roam around and play. They will have access to this for much of their time with us & plenty of opportunities for toilet breaks. We will also make sure to take them on a good walk with Kip. We are close to both parks and walking trails so can offer a good variety of stimulus for your dog. We will follow any care instructions you provide & treat your dog as if it was part of the family!

A typical day
A typical day would involve a nice morning walk along the local trails/ park. We also tend to spend plenty of time out in the secure garden at our house where there is lots of fun places to sniff & toys to play with.

Availability
I am currently a researcher working predominantly from home so am able to be with the dogs the majority of the time. Anna is also a researcher and has a flexible schedule. We would not leave your dog unattended at any time (unless this was something we had arranged with you in advance).
