My name is Kate and my husband, Evan, and I love to open our home to dogs while their families are away! I am the primary dog caregiver and have 20 years of experience working with dogs. I am well versed in dog care and first aid, natural remedies, canine CPR, and can give injections/medications/apply bandages, etc. I am an experienced dog breeder as well, so pregnant dogs, and females in heat are welcome. I also have spent years training to be be a dog trainer, and take on a limited number of outside dogs per year. Anything to do with dogs - I’m your gal! What to expect: Your dogs will be treated as if they were mine and my husband’s own. And by that I mean that they will be spoiled! All dogs that stay with us get custom care. This includes lots love, snuggles, and lots of daily play time in our big, securely fenced yard. Your dogs will have a blast socializing with the ranch dogs, seeing livestock, and trying out our agility obstacles. On warm days we often have water parties, complete with a puppy pool, and sprinklers to play in! Your dogs will be kept indoors except for play/exercise sessions and going potty, of course. Boarding, training, and breeding dogs is my full time job! I spend every day here on the ranch so the dogs are hardly ever left alone. We are not a kennel style boarding facility, we are a “pack” style! Meaning your pup gets to freely roam the house with our own balanced dogs, enjoy all of our toys, and feel like part of our pack. This type of boarding alleviates the stress a dog might normally feel from being away from home and we feel it is healthier for the dog. We do ask that you bring along your dog’s crate for them to sleep in at night, along with a towel or blanket that smells like home. If you don’t have a crate we have a few sizes your pup can borrow.
