Pet care experience
Experienced local pet/house sitter for over 20 years. Born and raised in Taos, I am an avid animal lover with two dogs and a handful of chickens. I have experience with a wide range of animals including rabbits, pigs, donkeys, and horses! I am comfortable caring for animals of all personalities & ages and can adjust my schedule to accommodate any special needs.

Kate was flexible, conscientious, and great with our dogs.
Kate was clearly attentive to our cats' cues and feelings, letting them warm up to her over a few days. It had been a hard month for them prior to her stay and they were a tough crowd, but she won them over with patience and calmness. Kate was proactive in asking important questions and making sure the care was done right. We came home to happy cats and a clean house. We hope to have her care for our felines again in the future!

Kate took amazing care of my two dogs and gave me continuous updates that really helped me (I get anxious leaving my dogs with anyone!) . My dogs were happy and not stressed when I came home, and she left my house cleaner than I had left it! Thank you Kate for being a great sitter

A typical day
We feed our dogs twice daily and go for morning and evening walks. I can easily adapt to your animal’s feeding/walking/sleeping schedule whatever it may be!

Availability
My availability is generally flexible and I am willing to accommodate most schedules. I live in Arroyo Seco near Taos Ski Valley. My husband and I have 4X4 vehicles, and I am willing to travel in the winter, weather permitting.
