Pet care experience
Ive had dogs since I was 10 which gives me 20 years taking care of and training dogs small to large. My last dog was very high energy so I'm prepared to be out in all weather. Special note for owners of Pit Bulls/Staffordshire terriers: I love pitties. I will never discriminate against your dog for their breed.

Kate did such a good job of taking care of our dog Enzo. Enzo is skeptical of most people at first but Kate took the time and patience to win him over. Kate’s communication with updates and photos was so great and appreciated. It was a relief to know he was doing well and totally happy to be with Kate. We will definitely hire Kate again!

I've owned dogs for most of my life so you can be sure I'll remember to do all requested tasks since I'm already used to taking care of them. I'm a naturally active person who enjoys trails, hills and long walks so your dog will benefit from that. I have lived with cats before so I'm familiar with their care as well. I don't offer boarding in my home but if I meet your pet a few times and deem them a good fit, we could make an exception.

Is your dog friendly with other dogs? Does your dog have any history of aggressive behavior? Are any parts on your dogs/cats body sensitive? As mentioned above, I use the bus/ferry for transportation. This will require you to have some flexibility around the time of visits. I can assure you that the quality of my service will make up for a slight delay. We can discuss the possibility of delays when we do a meet & greet.
A typical day
I prefer to get up early and get outside pretty much immediately. I like to fit in a walk or run before bed too. I live in downtown Dartmouth

Availability
I don't drive but am able to get to many locations for work. Its important to me that I make time to get outside and to exercise. I appreciate that dogs push me to do that even when the weather isn't so great
