Hi there! I have a deep love of dogs and grew up with poodles until I grew out of my allergies in the last few years. I have a nearly 6 year old basenji mix who is good with other dogs and is a sweet rescue. We live in a nice home with a fenced in yard in NW OKC and go for walks daily (usually 2 but with weather it can vary). Our neighborhood is perfect for walks and we live near Lake Hefner and some beautiful trails. I've spent the last few years fostering and working with various shelters in Austin but I just moved to OKC and thought maybe I should start up with some dog sitting for fun in my spare time. I work from home, so between me and Royce your dog wouldn't be lonely. Your dog would be welcomed and treated with love and respect and attention just like family ❤

Wow! Is there a “10” star rating?! I would definitely recommend Kate! She is such an Angel along with her fur baby Royce ❤️ We felt comfortable the first time meeting her. It was our fur baby’s first time to be away from us, she did absolutely amazing!! Kate updated us a couple times each day along with pics & videos, they went on daily walks, she gave her lots of love. ? I couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for our baby!
We are so happy to have found Kate to take care of our Luna. She is so easy to work with and so great at making our dog feel right at home with her and Royce. She kept us updated on how she was doing and what they were up to and sent us many photos and videos throughout. It is very difficult for us to leave our dog as we don't do it often and we want to see her taken care of as she would be at home. That is exactly what she got in her time with Kate.
Kate was wonderful and treated both of our babies like her own. She went above and beyond, they had such a great time. Will definitely be repeat customers!
Kate was the BEST!!. We are first time users of Rover and we recently moved to a new area. We were looking for a dog sitter that could watch an older, small dog. We arranged for pickup and drop off, and Kate was very professional and arrived on time. She was very attentive with Lucca. She sent us frequent updates with texts and photos. Lucca was very happy. She will definitely be our go to person for Lucca when we travel.

I have a fenced in yard, crate, and a fellow dog that would be happy to play with your dog and keep them company. Royce isn't an aggressive player, so you wouldn't need to worry about it going too far, he is also quite content with lots of naps. In short he's fairly low maintenance and our fence is solid 😀

Please let me know as much details about your dog as possible so I can be a better sitter. Do they eat at certain times, can they eat treats, do they need bathroom breaks at particular times, how long of a walk is too long, do they prefer dog beds or crates, do I need to watch out for chewing behavior etc. I would also prefer your dog to be housebroken but I understand accidents can happen especially if the dog is in a new environment. Let me know if the dog is allowed on the furniture. Dogs are allowed on mine with a giant blanket underneath to keep the furniture fur free.
A typical day
I love to take dogs around the neighborhood and to the parks nearby to change up the scenery. Royce loves any kind of nature trail so those are usually our go-to weekend spots with a pup cup from Starbucks after

I currently work full time, but I work from home. I generally work PT hours so it provides me a lot of flexibility for morning and evening walks and breaks throughout the day.
