This past year (starting in august) I volunteered at an animal shelter each weekend for at least two hours. They’ve trusted me to transport animals to the shelter, go on walks with dogs, socialize cats and dogs, and do lots of cleaning when needed! On top of that I’ve petsit for numerous neighbors and other families over the years. I’ve also had two dogs with totally different temperaments, so I’ve learned to adapt to each animals needs. I’m also workout regularly, meaning I am confident in my ability to be able to care for a large dog that might pull on walks or jump on me.
