Since I was 15 years old, as a Girl Scout, I have walked dogs, dog and cat sitted, and rescuedl/worked with strays in conjunction with Humane Society.

Our Maltese, Barney, stayed with Kate for the first time and we will definitely be booking with Kate again. Kate was very attentive to Barney’s needs and schedule and took the time to review Barney’s information beforehand so that our meet and greet and drop off were a breeze! It put my mind at ease to know that Barney was staying with someone who was responsible and caring enough to take some time to learn about him and prepare. Kate sent daily pictures and communication was great! Kate was also flexible with our drop off and pick up times. Thanks for taking great care of Barney!
Kate has worked with pets for most of her life. She has volunteered at animal shelters; and looked after friends' pets when they were traveling, etc. Additionally, she has cared for abandoned kittens/cats and has been instrumental in turning around very serious health situation with stray animals. Kate is very in tune with animals she cares for and will contact owners, veterinary care when there is a reasonable indication the pet could be having a health issue. She is able to give medication to cats and dogs. I would not hesitate to have Kate care for my pets and would be confident and comfortable that whatever the situation, she would not rest until the pet was care for in the most appropriate manner.
I have known Kate since she was in Junior High School. Kate is a kind-hearted loving person, and she especially loves animals. Kate was a Girl Scout, from Daisy to Senior Girl Scouts, and she always earned her Pet Badge and had high marks on her care and responsibility. Kate has taken care of friends dogs and cats while they were away for their vacations, and she also walked them during the work day. I would highly recommend Kate for your Fur Baby sitter.
Kate has always been an animal lover. She will love your animal as her own during her pet caregiver time. She will definitely go above and beyond to make sure your pet has what it needs while you are away.
