I've been a dog owner from childhood into adulthood until I moved to L.A. from Indiana 3 years ago. For now, I've moved to Fort Wayne, IN after having experiencing watching owners' pets in the Marina del Rey area. I have experience taking care of my friends' dogs along with my own (who is now 16 years old/ a senior dog who now lives with family in IN). I've learned how to handle all puppies and adults with special needs, such as medicinal and exercise needs. To me - whenever I visit my parents, my puppy Greta, who is pictured, will always be a puppy even though she is old and needs special medicine. I am used to giving dogs medication and have learned all the tricks to getting dogs to take them from my vet and family friend in Indiana. Having had a few friends attend the vet school at Purdue University (where I also attended), I've even had experience with pets of all types in the same household. This includes skunks. My grandparents had a farm for many years with many animals, so I understand the dynamic of many various animals living together. I also have cared for more cats than dogs and have experience with all ages and medicinal needs as well. I lost my own cat to old age a few years ago and had experience with many vet visits and medicine feeding for her.
