Pet care experience
My dad never let us have dogs growing up (sad), so I made up for lost time as soon as I could and got 2 of my own. I rescued 2 dogs and they were best friends until I had to put my golden retriever George to sleep, but he gave it a good run being 13! Jillie the mutt that had some rhodesian ridgeback and pitt bull in her lived for 3 more years, surprisingly good on her own, until I put her to sleep as well. She was an amazing 16! I am not emotionally ready to get more dogs of my own yet, but still want to be around all the dogs I can until I am ready! Absolutely excellent to work with. My rambunctious Waffles is still a puppy with puppy problems but she was so happy to be with Kate and I couldn’t have asked for a more patient and caring sitter. Fully trustworthy and worth every dollar.
Daisy had a wonderful time at Kate’s! She was spoiled, snuggled, and loved on. Kate sent pics and updates on Daisys visit at the pefect rate. I would recommend Kate to anyone who needed a dog sitter!
Kate was outstanding to work with. We needed her to watch our dog, Sadie and my in laws dog. The dogs were both drawn to her. Definitely would work with again !
We had to go out of town 8 weeks after our dog’s knee surgery. Although he was fine, we were certainly a little nervous to leave him. Leaving him with Kate gave us absolute peace of mind. We knew he would not only be well cared for, but would get lots of love and attention while we were away! Highly recommend! Thanks Kate!

Any details about temperament or medicines that are needed would be appreciated. I have had experience with bigger dogs (50 lbs and higher), smaller dogs and every size in between! I have a real weakness for golden retrievers, but love all dogs!
A typical day
I love taking dogs on long walks, but will adjust to whatever length of time they can handle. I can take them to the lake, dog beach, I'm flexible!
