Pet care experience
Never in my life have I not been around dogs! I've been trusted as a dog-sitter more times than I can count--particularly in my childhood neighborhood and I have my own pup at home too! As someone with an animal-loving grandma (she has 2 entire rooms dedicated to her cats), I've been taught to treat animals with kindness and empathy. From when I first remember, she was bringing rescue cats, kittens, or birds by our house because she needed to feed them every hour or so. I would never divert from her lessons in kindness towards our pets so your fur babies will be in good hands.

Kate did a great job taking care of my dog. She is a great communicator, arrived on time, and sent lots of pictures. Kate is a kind and curteous caretaker and goes above ans beyond. I had peace of mind while I was away and that is priceless. I recommend Kate 10/10.
Kate cared and walked our mini poodle many times while we were away. On top of being very responsible, Kate has a warm personality and my dog was very comfortable with her.
Kate was infinitely patient with me, a nervous dog parent, and with my dog, who has anxiety and health conditions. She and my pup bonded instantly due to Kate's friendly and calming presence. She knows and loves dogs! Outside of family, she is the first person I have trusted to care for my dog and she always did so with respect for our specific situation. She is responsive, flexible, conscientious and just a nice person to chat with! I felt very lucky to find such a thougtful and kind-hearted pet sitter for my special needs dog and I will jump at the chance to have her sit again!

Since I don't have the safety guarantees of owning my own home, I do not offer boarding services. However, I offer overnights, walks, and drop-ins. As for overnights, I am a respectful and clean guest and will follow all discussed procedures. As for walks, I never skimp on time nor distance as I understand that the comfort of your pet has been put in my hands. And drop-ins will be full of extra pets, good lovin', and maybe fetch!

I would love to know about any special quirks that your dog has! For me, my dog, Skitchy is very particular about her food: she needs it warmed up in the microwave and well-mixed. On the other hand, my grandma's dog, who I'm with a lot, will eat anything but he is very particular about his couch territory. In my experience, the more I know about your dog's quirks the more (safe!) fun we can have together!
A typical day
I don't have many special places that I like to go on walks at, as I only moved here last year and only stay during the school year. However, other than my love of furry friends, that's part of the reason why I'm on here! I'd love to find some new places with your pup-- safely of course. On the other note, I would love to play fetch and run around a yard with your canine companion!

Availability
As a college student, I have a fairly unique schedule from day to day-- which also differs from the classic 9-5. Since I'm living with my grandparents to attend college at CCSU, I don't have a chance to have my own pet-- so I can be completely dedicated to yours! I can be an early riser as well as a night owl, and I love a nice afternoon stroll-- so long as we have a plan at least a few days in advance!
