Pet care experience
Myself and my partner Matt are huge animal lovers! We have both grown up around animals - specifically dogs. I have regularly taken care of a range of dogs belonging to friends and family for overnight stays, including feeding, walking and training. I have trained my family dogs, teaching them a variety of tricks and obedience skills. I have always been around animals, had this passion and held responsibility since being a child, having owned horses, rabbits and dogs.

Robin had the best time with Kate & Matt. Robin is definitely a Velcro dog so we were a bit nervous to leave her but she relaxed straight away, ate all her food and had the best walks! She’s back with us today and she’s super tired which is a sign that she had a great time! Thank you both for all the updates over the last two days and looking after our darling girl so well!

Kate and Matt were so lovely when we met them and Ruby also took an instant liking to them and lay down for a tummy rub. I can see that Ruby had the best time staying with them. Kate was very good at sending messages and updates and pictures of their walks and pictures of Ruby looking very comfortable and happy at their apartment. The only negative is that, whilst Ruby was happy to see us, she looked sad in the car, like she wanted to go back to Matt!
From our first meeting with Kate and her partner, they made us feel so relaxed and we just knew our dog Chico was going to be in excellent hands! They were wonderful sitters and Kate kept us up to date with lots of photos and info about how Chico was getting on. We will absolutely be asking Kate to look after Chico again! Thank you so much!

We live in an open plan flat with access straight onto the canals for long walks. We don’t mind dogs being on the sofa/bed as long as you are happy with this! We will follow your dogs routine with sleeping arrangements.

A typical day
We love nothing more than taking long walks down the canals and to local parks. We can regularly exercise your dog and take them for their toilet breaks as many times as they need. When indoors, your dog will still enjoy play time with toys or a snooze on the sofa if they wish. We can also create stimulating enrichment activities and games using toys or treats :)

Availability
I live with my partner in an apartment, he works from home full-time, whilst I work from home 1-2 days a week. Please be reassured that your dog will never be left unattended for any period of time. It’s really important to us that your much loved pet feels safe, secure and part of our family! We are very flexible with dates and times with 1 day of notice. Overnight stays or day care available.
