Ian and Kate both have extensive experience with dogs - Ian grew up taking care of and training his childhood dog, Sam. Kate has been dog sitting, boarding and walking for many years. We adopted our sweet & active dog, Tormund, from the Humane Society.

Our golden Carly stayed with Kate & Ian last fall and had an amazing time. They have a fenced in yard where Carly was able to play with her new friend Tor who kept her busy, and she came home happy and tired after a fun long weekend. We were extremely satisfied with their communication and flexibility when we were late for our pickup time and we would definitely recommend Kate & Ian to anyone looking for a safe and welcoming place for their doggy. 5/5
My dog Willow has stayed with Kate and Ian twice now and she has had a blast at their house each time. They have a fenced in yard which allows Willow and their dog Tor to run around for hours. They are very nice people and they treat Willow like she is part of their family. Highly recommend!
Kate and Ian watched my 2 yr old white lab and did a great job. He came home in a great mood, and Kate and Ian are very nice and responsive. Book them before I do!
Kate and Ian are wonderful couple. My dog stayed with the family for a week and half. Initially my dog had significant separation anxiety and Kate and Ian worked with my dog to calm her down and make her feel comfortable. Kate kept me posted on my dog and sending picture and videos daily. After a couple of days, my dog settled in with the family and started to play. I am sure they worked so hard to help her feel comfortable as my pandemic adopted-puppy has been very attached to us. Kate makes sure my dog eat and gives showers after my dog rolled in mud. Kate and Ian’s family dog is playful with my dog and they got along very well. I am very thankful for Kate and Ian to open up the house to share with my dog. Their kid is very gentle and loving. Their fenced yard is flat and a great size for high energy dog like mine to run and chase each other and occasionally catch rabbits. Kate and Ian are wonderful and I will definitely book with them again in the future.

We’d love to meet to get to know your dog and have your dog feel more comfortable with us! Also love to know what types of toys and treats they prefer and whether they enjoy being around people all the time or are more introverted (we can set up a separate space for them to relax in if they need).
A typical day
Our dog is a fetch dog, so we play ball daily if your dog is interested in that sort of thing. We also love to make really fun Kong treats for visit pups to keep their mind engaged!

Availability
Ian works from home part time, and Kate is a stay at home mom - we can give your pet the full attention they need. We have a fully fenced backyard. Our 2 year old dog Tor is extremely active and playful, and gets along with everyone - he would really love to have some playmates over!
