Your pet will get my full attention during drop in visits as well as food and water refreshments as needed. Daily photos will be sent to you so that you can have peice of mind that they are doing okay, as well as a visit summary. For those seeking dog walking services, the same care and attention will be provided. The more visits I have with your pet, the better I will be able to gain their trust and build a relationship with them. This is especially important with shyer pets and can take some time. I will never rush your pet to come out of their favorite hiding space or to engage in activity if they are uncomfortable.

I am Kate's cousin, and she has stayed with my three year old yellow lab and myself many times. She handles his high energy and often obnoxious need for attention very well - she remains calm around him and waits for him to calm down before giving him attention. I am confident she will make a wonderful dog sitter and walker. If she lived closer I would refuse to write this so we could have a personal dog sitter and walker of our own and wouldn't have to share! :)

When visiting with your pet, your pets health and comfort is top of mind. It is important to me to make sure food and water bowls are refreshed and litter boxes cleaned. Pets will get plenty of play time and Snuggles during their visit, but for those that are more shy, I will give them their space until they feel safe.

Do you have any current concerns about your dog regarding their behaviors? (I.e: Anxiety) Does your dog have any injuries or disabilities that I need to be aware of? (I.e.: Arthritis, Diabetes, Seizure disorders, ect.)
A typical day
I believe walks are meant for so much more than just exercise. It is a time to get out and explore. When first getting to know your dog, I'll initially start by bringing them around your neighborhood to build trust and get to learn more about their personality and comfort level. From there, depending on your dog's comfort, I'll begin switching up routes, and looking for new places for your dog to explore, and maybe even bring some fun puzzles for your pet to try out in different environments depending on their interest level. I will always bring a clean portable water dish and water bottle for your pooch to enjoy during water breaks, as it is important to keep them hydrated. Especially in the summer heat!
