Pet care experience
I've had pets of every kind since I was young. Today I am lucky enough to live with two very chilled dogs - a beagle (12) and a Romanian borderweiler (6), plus a cat that loves dogs. I qualified as a dog trainer for an agility club while living in France and have a degree in Psychology. I am particularly good at calming nervous animals. My small house is located within a nature reserve and has a mature fenced garden with terrace and lawn and country walks just outside. I work as a part-time massage therapist from home so four-legged guests must be well socialised small and medium-sized senior dogs that settle after a decent walk and aren't too vocal. I can accept long stays for dogs that we have previously hosted for either daycare or overnight and are a good fit. PLEASE NOTE, I can only take dogs that are FULLY HOUSE TRAINED for BOARDING and DAYCARE.
Reviews
First time putting my dog into dog boarding, and what a great experience. Kate kept in touch the whole time and sent photos of Thor on his adventures. Will 100% book again in the future. Thanks very much kate
Kate is excellent, I would highly recommended her. We went away for 12 nights and left our loved Frenchie with Kate. Received lots of pictures of Coco out with Kates dogs daily sometime a couple times a day. Wouldn’t use anyone one else now we have found Kate she is simply that good.
This is the second time fox stays with Susie, she’s an amazing host and fox looks as happy as can be. Highly recommend!
Kate is an amazing host, our 14 year old Shiba inu whos usually a bit anti social LOVES her home. She household's relaxed vibe and the long walks she take our dog on ... will be booking her over and over again as long as she's available!

A Meet & Greet takes place at my house before I confirm any booking. Dogs must be house-trained (or crate trained if they are puppies). Please note, to confirm a booking Rover requests payment in full! If you are not in a situation to commit like this, then please contact me nearer the time.
A typical day
We have a wide selection of walks around the nature reserve and along the Humber just outside. My dogs usually go out in the car once a day on errands (which they enjoy). We also usually walk to the local cafe and their favourite pub at least once a week.
