In search of: a pup to spoil!
Pet care experience
I am an animal science/pre-vet postgrad and am currently working in pathology research at the UofUtah. I have lots of experience in caring for and training animals of all shapes and sizes - from dogs and cats to black bears and porcupines! I have worked as a vet tech assistant at several clinics and currently volunteer at a variety of shelters. I have my own pup at home in MN, and am always looking for a pet away from home here in Salt Lake!

Kate is responsive and responsible. She took great care of our Cat and Rabbit, both of whom warmed up to her right away. She was responsive to requests me made while away, which was a huge help for us. Our house was clean when we returned and she even laundered the sheets and towels she used. Highly recommend!

I have no breed preferences, but would like to know how your pet gets along with other people and other animals. I would also like to know if your dog has any allergies or health concerns, and anything else that might help me be prepared to take the best care of your dog.
A typical day
I live very near a beautiful bike path and park trails, and would love to have a partner for my exploring! I’m also happy to snuggle up with your pup in bed with a good book, or spend the day playing with everything from squeaky toys to tennis balls.

Availability
I work full-time Monday-Friday, but am usually free on weekends and evenings. I am also available to walk during the day for locations downtown/near the University. I am happy to set long-term schedules as well as last minute, flexible arrangements!
