Pet care experience
My daughters and I love all dogs! I raised a black lab mix rescue for 12 years, and after putting him down summer of 2021 we got another lab mix rescue… Flynn! We’ve watched 4 dogs at one time for my old boss (still watch 1-2 at a time for him when he travels) and we pet every dog we see out and about. Flynn is high energy and very friendly, and we would love for him to have another dog-friend but can’t commit to owning another of our own right now… showing your pup some love when you need to be away is our compromise!

Kate took such wonderful care of our new puppy! She sent us pictures while we were gone and it was so fun to see what he was up to while we were gone. He had a great time and didn’t want to come home!
Kate and her whole family are wonderful!!! Knowing that our dog is being cared for by such an attentive and easy going group is such a gift. Communication is regular but not intrusive. Getting a nightly pic and update go a long way to easing any concerns my family and I have about “how our boy is?”. Drop off and pick up are quick and easy. Our high energy guy comes back tired and content. So grateful to have found a reliable and good fit for us!! Thank you Kate!!!!
Kate and her family are awesome!! My dog is a little difficult to connect with during your first interaction with him; however, that was not the case with Kate, her family, and her place. My dog spent 10 days with Kate and he was super happy when I picked him up. Feel confident to trust your loved pup with her :)

Happy to accommodate whatever your pet needs! Flynn is very playful… there are many spaces inside plus our fenced yard for all dogs to be comfortable. I am used to separating pets if needed for feeding or rest time. My daughters love playing fetch and snuggling inside and outside!

I would love to know if you dog has any special needs, where they prefer to sleep at night and whether they need to be kenneled when unattended, if they’re allowed on furniture, how well they walk on a leash, and how well they ride in the car. I am home during the day so provide frequent bathroom breaks and checks for water.
A typical day
Our fenced backyard provides lots of opportunity to be outside and play! We play fetch, go for walks in the neighborhood or at Mirabeau park, and go to the dog park regularly.

Availability
I work full time from home, 5am to 2pm. I’m able to let dogs out whenever, and our yard is fenced. I typically take a walk break mid morning, and love to go to the dog park between 2 and 3.
